Al Marji’ Publications honoured its clients and experts yesterday at St. Regis Hotel & Residence.

The ceremony took place on the occasion of Family Flavours’ and Nakahat Ailiyeh anniversary celebrations sponsored by the hotel, L’Occitane en Provence and FleurChic.

“We are delighted today to celebrate with our experts and partners, renewing our partnership and continuing with our mission to deliver credible information related to parenting and health”, said Hind-Lara Mango, Publisher and Managing Director of Al Marji’ Publications, publishers of both magazines.

Princess Rajwa Ali Hashimi presented awards to Al Marji’ Publications’ partners Societe Generale de Banque, The Group, The Royal Health Awareness Society, The Children’s Museum Jordan, Mövenpick Resort & Spa, Hayat FM and Ro’ya TV in appreciation of their support throughout the years.

At the event, guest speaker 26-years-old cancer survivor Dareen Kotob talked about why she chose Family Flavours and Nakahat ‘Ailiyeh parenting magazines to share her journey.

The anniversary event also highlighted Al Marji’ Publications’ focus on corporate social responsibility, including its support of the Al Yusr Moringa Project. Dr Sawsan Majali, the co-founder of Durrat Almanal for Development and Training, spoke about the many health benefits of the Moringa tree and the project’s socio-economic and environmental impact on local communities in the Jordan Valley and beyond.

Al Marji’ Publications also honoured the memory of the late Ayah Aghabi at its anniversary event. Sara As’ad spoke about Aghabi’s legacy and partnering with Al Marji’ Publications to support her campaign for Aghabi’s non-governmental organisation, Accessible Jordan. As’ad successfully climbed Africa’s highest mountain,  Mount Kilimanjaro, for the cause. Over one million people are affected by physical disabilities in Jordan.

Autumn Issue of Aqaba Seasons Launched

Aqaba Seasons’ autumn newsletter gives local and international tourists a taste of the Red Sea and its neighbouring areas.

Aqaba Seasons is a quarterly newsletter aiming to give tourists an easy-to-use and carry reference produced and designed by Al Marji’ Publications and distributed free of charge in Aqaba, the Dead Sea and Amman,” says Hind-Lara Mango, Publisher and Managing Director.

In its digital and print formats, the content offers tourists ideas about activities in Aqaba, from snorkelling and diving to touring the newly launched Underwater Military Museum in a glass-bottom boat.

Through the Aqabawi Experience, depicted on the pages of Aqaba Seasons, tourists can partake in traditional arts and crafts, culinary classes with locals and unique Red Sea excursions.

Beyond Aqaba, the newsletter focuses on Wadi Rum, a dreamland for tourists and filmmakers; we learn how the Royal Film Commission facilitates film productions, such as Aladdin, Transformers and The Martian!

Readers can also catch up on what’s happening in Aqaba, from rallies, marathons and sporting events to concerts and community outreach. For more, visit https://familyflavours.com/booklets-2/
